Core Insight:
According to Osho, as long as the jiveshana—the lust to live and taste life—burns strongly, devotion is impossible. Only after one exhausts and tests life, sees its hollowness, and the urge is defeated, does true discipleship arise. Then a radical turning toward the beyond happens; attachment loosens, courage awakens, and existence itself conspires to support the journey, as in Buddha’s departure.
