According to Osho, being married and free is difficult but not impossible: recognize that no one is born for another, no one must fulfill your ideals, and love can be given but never demanded. Give each other space, never interfere with individuality. Then marriage or no marriage is secondary—you can live together in freedom; without this understanding, the institution becomes a prison.
