Can the outside world understand the concept of lying out of compassion, or will it lead to more misunderstanding about Osho and Rajneeshism?

According to Osho, compassionate lying is a skillful device to awaken the 'sleeping'; ultimate truth cannot be conveyed without distortion, so an awakened one may 'lie' to help. He does not seek the outside world’s approval; misunderstanding, disturbance, even hostility are acceptable—and intentionally used as shocks that spark curiosity and relationship, potentially leading outsiders toward inquiry and transformation.
