According to Osho, ordinary people cannot grasp a synthesis of East and West, science and religion, outer and inner because ‘ordinary’ means clouded awareness: minds packed with conditioning, prejudice and borrowed beliefs. They mis-hear through their junk-filled filters; the mirror is dusty. Only the courageous, clean, risk-taking intelligence can understand first and become lamps—then, gradually, others catch the light.
