According to Osho, the sensed distance arises because his work has entered a new phase: no longer merely a vehicle for Buddha’s voice, he must articulate where he differs and add contemporary insights (science, psychology, society) to the timeless core. His love for Buddha is unchanged; but teaching must evolve with disciples’ maturity and today’s realities, moving from talk to communion.
