Core Insight:
According to Osho, an enlightened person remains conscious even in sleep; only the body rests while awareness stays lit. Because unconsciousness is absent, dreaming is impossible, and the night is effortless, still, and deeply restorative. Their sleep has the calm of continuous witnessing, no inner turmoil, no movement, like Buddha's unmoving 'lying posture.' Even with anesthesia, only the periphery dims; the center of consciousness remains awake.
