According to Osho, will is the ego’s assertive, masculine drive to seek, conquer, and control—yang energy. Surrender is its feminine counterpart, egoless receptivity. Identifying with will alone makes one an egoist and keeps you divided; choosing only surrender also cripples wholeness. Real spirituality harmonizes will and surrender, integrating inner polarities so action arises without egoic domination and the unconscious—created by rejected parts—dissolves.
