According to Osho, love is the deep urge to dissolve the separate 'I' and return to oneness with the whole—becoming rooted again in existence, nourished like a tree in its soil. Through polarity (man–woman) love serves as a door to the divine. We fear love because ego must die; surrender threatens our separate identity even as it promises fulfillment.
