According to Osho, earning more so you can give more keeps you trapped in the same greed for 'more.' Accumulation breeds clutching; then giving becomes an investment—merit, praise, or heaven—not freedom. Charity, at best, is penitence for hoarding, not a positive virtue. Real giving happens only when the fever of 'more' subsides and you return what was needless, with no calculation, reward, or identity attached.
