According to Osho, you’re asking the wrong question: whatever Jesus did, he merits exactly such followers. By founding a belief-based religion that cripples intelligence, he (or the tradition around him) fostered closed, fearful minds whose fear flips into anger and conditional “love.” They cannot hear dissent, so their rage is self-protection; the real puzzle is intelligent people still remaining Christian.
