Core Insight:
According to Osho, in effortless (sahaj) samadhi the breath becomes naturally rhythmic, cadenced, and musical—resonant with inner sound—and, when one is inactive, it itself is bliss. Because awareness abides beyond the body, only the bare minimum of life-energy is needed, so breathing becomes extremely minimal; such a person can even remain at ease where oxygen is scarce. Pranayama mimics this rhythm to give seekers peace.
