Core Insight:
According to Osho, hypnosis (yoga-tandra) deliberately quiets the everyday mind so the inner, undistorted mind becomes accessible; this can reveal your inner structure and even deepen meditation or healing. But it is equally dangerous: the unconscious is utterly trusting and can absorb harmful suggestions—even to death. Use hypnosis sparingly, with ethical guidance and self-awareness, privileging meditation and self-suggestion over dependence on others.
