According to Osho, the witness is simple, choiceless awareness: being conscious of your own being beyond the duality of good and bad. In witnessing there is no judgment; acts aren’t inherently moral or immoral—awareness is good, unawareness is bad. When awareness awakens, goodness follows effortlessly like a shadow, conflict and repression cease, and life becomes natural, joyful, and free.
