According to Osho, light and darkness aren't opposing forces but complementary expressions of a single continuum; darkness is simply less light and light is less darkness—their difference is only of degree. Dropping Aristotelian either/or logic, he calls it 'lightdarkness': one reality perceived relatively. Understanding this dissolves duality, revealing the wholeness underpinning apparent polarities.
