According to Osho, after the fourth stage the ego soon returns because the old mind-mechanism persists; you 'come back,' though not as the same person, having tasted the beyond. With ripening, going out and in becomes effortless, revealing a further stage: transcendence of both inner and outer. The fourth stage is merely satori - a reversible glimpse - whereas samadhi is the irreversible point of no return.
