Core Insight:
According to Osho, surrendering to a person does not erase your real self or freedom; it dissolves only the ego—the false ‘I’ that binds you. If you already know true freedom, surrender is unnecessary; if not, surrender is a skillful means to drop vanity in the presence of love. What remains after surrender is your soul’s innate freedom; any ‘freedom’ that vanishes by bowing was never worth keeping.
