According to Osho, inhibition doesn't merely reinforce the ego; it is the ego's masked form. Whenever you suppress a genuine impulse out of fear of what people will say, you feed the ego's calculations. The egoless person acts simply and spontaneously, without superimposed manners. Even staged humility serves ego. Drop concern for others' opinions; be natural. Otherwise you'll carry society's donkey and lose your life's authenticity.
