Are there shortcomings in the teachings of Tantra that make its methods unsuitable?

According to Osho, Tantra contains a partial truth—sexual energy can be transformed—but as a system it is incomplete. By making meditation secondary, it degenerates into sexual orgy, especially attracting the repressed and perverted. Without first healing repression and establishing deep meditation, Tantra’s methods are misused, exploitative, and spiritually barren. Rightly ordered, meditation must come first; only then may tantric experiments be meaningful.
