According to Osho, knowledge is criticized because it is second-hand, ego-inflating and deceptive: it covers your basic not-knowing, breeds cunningness and distracts you with words, blocking real self-knowing. Ignorance isn't condemned because it is honest, innocent, and truly yours; seen meditatively, it becomes wisdom. Admitting "I don't know," like Socrates, is the first step from pure ignorance to liberating wisdom.
