According to Osho, authentic Zen dissolves the teacher–disciple hierarchy; when there are “teachers and followers,” Zen is already lost. Zen is a direct, personal discovery beyond scriptures and lineage. The true meeting is an immediate awakening in living presence, not an inherited tradition. One must find it oneself rather than borrow it from authority.
