Core Insight:
According to Osho, the word 'God' was not an ancient attempt to explain the unexplainable; it was a later invention of priests, arriving with their power-structures. Original people lived joyously, without concepts of God, heaven or hell, or abstract talk of 'the inexpressible' and 'nature of being.' Priests fabricated and continually refined 'God' to manage and manipulate human fear and hope.
