Core Insight:
According to Osho, witnessing is possible through both the knowledge-senses and the action-senses. Witnessing means remaining inwardly centered, a neutral onlooker, while thoughts arise or actions occur. Consciousness is distinct from body and mind; even amid doing, perceiving, or danger, the inner witness simply sees: “now this is happening.” This clarity frees one from compulsion, temptation, punishment, and imposed authority.
