Was the twenty-one-day ritual a traditional practice or elemental realization?

According to Osho, labels like “traditional” or “new” both belong to the past; even what breaks tradition soon becomes old. What’s needed now is a response arising directly from the present, beyond inherited methods. Therefore the twenty-one-day ritual is not a traditional practice but an elemental, existential realization tailored to today’s consciousness, not a continuation of any lineage.
