Is the view of the proletariat as 'the lowest' contradictory to Christ's teachings on the poor?

According to Osho, the supposed clash between Marxist talk of the proletariat as ‘lowest’ and Jesus’ beatification of the poor is a false issue: both frames exploit the poor. Glorifying poverty is “poison” that numbs revolt; labeling people ‘lowest’ still keeps them trapped. The only spiritual task is to condemn and eradicate poverty through intelligence, technology, and compassion.
