Are movements like Arica, Zen, Sufism, EST, and TM an inevitable synthesis between Eastern mysticism and Western science?

According to Osho, real synthesis is not a meeting of East and West but their transcendence; any mix-and-match of techniques (EST, TM, Arica, etc.) produces a mechanical compromise, not organic unity. Such hybrids join the weakest links—Eastern science with Western religion—creating an 'ugly affair.' True integration grows from an individual's center; a few awakened souls, not movements or comparative scholarship, will embody it.
