According to Osho, a soul can enter another dead body, but it is purposeless: that body was abandoned because it had become unfit, so re-entering a corpse serves no growth. The real task is to understand how you inhabit your own body. Generally, souls wait for a fitting new birth—ordinary ones within about thirteen days; very inferior or superior ones wait longer.
