According to Osho, our perception of forms is mostly a mechanical, conditioned shorthand: the mind drops the living object and keeps the sign, reads only the beginning and fills in the rest from pre-fed patterns and unconscious formulas. This pattern-completion makes us fast and 'right enough,' but it remains superficial, error-prone, and has nothing to do with authentic spiritual seeing.
