"Osho Upaban at the lap of Pokhara is truly our fortune. It offers peace, silence, and inner clarity in today’s busy world, especially for the youth. More than a meditation space, it adds another soulful beauty to Pokhara, making the city not only scenic, but spiritually rich as well. A place everyone should visit at least once."

"A peaceful place to hang around. Don’t know much about Osho but the place gives you a peace of mind as the location is little away from the city. The park is nicely maintained. Flowers, statues of gods and the life awakening written sentences make us think about living life peacefully once gain. Death park is another attraction where it makes you realize to think about the life’s ultimate truth. For outsiders you will have to pay NPR 50.00 per person to go around. There is no restaurant or any other place to eat even near by so make sure your stomach is full before the visit."

"The good: All people are friendly and warm. Good place to experiance silence and un uplifting spirit in meditation. The general atmosphere is very good. The quality of the food: 6 of 10 Not so good: They only cook white rice, and not whole grain rice. I was in a shared room for two persons. Matras quality : 6 of 10 , very hard to sleep on. Bathroom, not so very good. Good hot water in the shower, but only if the sun has been shining. The quality of the bathroom is below average, 3 of 10 The toilet looks absulutely disgusting... Overall cleanliness of the room: 4 of 10 . The room was not cleaned during my 5 day stay. Very little space to put clothes for 2 people. No towel provided. Maintanance of room : 5 of 10 The not so good. Western people need to pay much more for staying and groups, then Nepalese or Indians. They think westerners are all miljonairs, and can be used as a cash-cow. But they have to pay for a flight ticket, which from Europe cost around € 1150 for a return flight. A visa cost € 150. You have to pay 100NLR. a day if you want wi-fi. In every hotel this is free of charge. The really bad…………….. The music in the meditation hall is sometimes really deafening, extremely loud. The ear is a very sensitive organ. It should be treated with care, to avoid hearing loss. But the one in charge off the soundsystem, seems to think, the louder the better. I would recommand earplugs to protect your hearing organ. I do not like the way the 3 cows are kept at the bottem of the ashram. There is no respect. Most of the year they are tight up with a small rope inside a stable, which allows them little movement. No free walking around in a meadow. All day they are fighting to keep the flies away. No flie-catchers in the stable. It looks miserable. It would be better if they had no cows.. This greatly affects my star rating."
