"Amazing place. It was very nice to do a meditation here. Osho is our guide and to be with people that’s also understand this is amazing. After my training in the Osho center in India I really wanted to go here. Thankful and blessed to be in this place. Hope to see you soon. Bart Zomerdijk With love over the World"

"Osho Mevlana is what is left of the once much larger commune in Amsterdam. The building was formerly a school, and the classrooms have been transformed into spacious two-level rooms, which house about 25 permanent residents. Kitchens, bathrooms, and showers are shared. The building has a beautiful garden and a meditation room. Osho meditations are regularly held, mainly Dynamic in the morning and White Robe in the evening, but few residents attend, and generally, not a lot of people show up. Almost all of the residents are either older sannyasins or children of sannyasins who grew up in Osho communities. It is sometimes possible to rent a room for a few months while a permanent resident is away, but spaces rarely open up permanently. When they do, candidates who have a long history with the community are generally favored. Because of this policy, a friend of mine once called the commune a 'retirement home for old sannyasins.' Probably that is an exaggeration, but if you are new to Osho, it is unlikely you will be able to settle here permanently. Still, it is nice to visit, do a meditation, and talk to some of the oldtimers. Osho's presence can be felt."
